HOW IT WORKS

TRY ONS

✿ We offer try ons at our studio

✿ Please see our try on page for info and booking.

✿ We do not offer postal try ons at this time.

 

BOOKING A GARMENT

✿ If you are an Adelaide, pick up customer, bookings may be made at any time. Postage customers must book in time for the garment to be posted to you. (We post garments express Monday/Tuesday the week of the event).

✿ Bookings can be made on the product page of the garment you'd like to hire on the website. Simply select the size and colour if multiple variations available, then choose your hire date (automatic 3 day hire period will be selected, this is to block out a full weekend and isn't relevant to return date), agree to T&Cs and check out.

✿ If you require a longer booking period, please email wmiyhire.contact@gmail.com, prior to booking.

✿ You will receive a booking confirmation email with instructions to arrange collection. We also offer Uber package delivery for last minute hires (price dependant on Uber charges, Adelaide only).

✿ Alternatively, you may book a garment at the studio during a try on appointment via www.wmiyhire.com.

✿ You can book a garment up to 4 months in advance. 

 

GARMENT CONDITION

✿ When hiring, please do not expect the garment to be in brand new condition. Our garments are regularly hired so may have general wear, however we will not hire out dirty or clearly damaged garments unless stated in the description.

 

GARMENT CLEANING

✿ Standard cleaning is included in the hire cost.

✿ Please do not attempt to launder the garment yourself, this can lock in stains or create new damage to the garment. If you have concerns about a stain please contact email wmiyhire.contact@gmail.com or @whatsmineisyours_hire Instagram.

✿ Stained or excessively dirty garments may result in an excess cleaning fee (amount determined individually from $10-25). Examples: tan, dirt, ink, makeup, oil, food, double sided tape residue, grass, red wine/dark/bright alcohol. This also pertains to excessive odour eg. cigarette smell.

✿ If you know what the stains are please let me know via wmiyhire.contact@gmail.com or when you return, this can greatly increase the chances of the dry cleaners removing the stains.

 

RETURNS

Weekday Pick Up Hires can be collected the day before the event and must be returned the day following hire date. This includes Friday night hires unless otherwise arranged.

Weekend Pick Up Hires can be returned any time Sunday. If you have hired via pick up but would like to return via postage Monday this must be approved via wmiyhire@gmail.com a minimum of 48 hours prior to Monday. It must be posted express postage with the bag you collected in. A lodgement receipt and tracking number must be emailed to wmiyhire.contact@gmail.com before 12pm Monday (late fees will apply until this receipt is received).

✿ Postal Weekday Hire

Must be return posted the following day by 12pm at the post office in the supplied return express satchel, with a lodgement receipt emailed to wmiyhire.contact@gmail.com (late fees will apply until this receipt is received).

Please do not put the satchel in a post box as there is no proof that you have sent it in this case.

Late fees of $20 per day will be charged until the lodgement receipt is received. This includes a $20 late fee if sent after 12pm Monday (unless otherwise arranged).

Postal Weekend Hires must be returned Monday before 12pm at the Post Office with a lodgement receipt emailed to wmiyhire.contact@gmail.com (late fees will apply until this receipt is received).

Please do not put the envelope in a post box as there is no proof that you have sent it in this case.

Late fees of $20 per day will be charged until the lodgement receipt is received. This includes a $20 late fee if sent after 12pm Monday (unless otherwise arranged).

Monday Long Weekend Postal Hires must be returned Tuesday before 12pm at the Post Office with a lodgement receipt emailed to wmiyhire.contact@gmail.com (late fees will apply until this receipt is received).

Late fees of $20 per day will be charged until the lodgement receipt is received. This includes a $20 late fee if sent after 12pm Monday (unless otherwise arranged).

Late Fees

Late fees of $20 per day will be charged will be charged until the garment is returned (for pick up hires) or until the lodgement receipt is sent (for postal hires). Alternative return times can sometimes be arranged with at least 48 hours notice via email. If the garment is not returned by the Friday following the hire date by 2pm, the hire fee is charged again on top of the $20 per day late fees.

 ✿ Please note, it is your responsibility to take note of the return date and return on time not our responsibility to chase up returns. 

DAMAGES TO GARMENTS

✿ Accidents can happen & we understand this. Please contact me immediately via wmiyhire.contact@gmail.com with a photo of the damage, the quicker we can work together to try to resolve the issue, the better. 

✿ Repairable damage will cost the alterations fee + $10.

✿ Irreparable damage will cost the RRP of the garment, or 200% of the RRP for a sold out style.

✿ No pinning, clamping, or altering of the garment. Do not remove hanging loops on inside of the dress otherwise you'll need to pay for new ones to be attached. 

✿ Do not wear the garment with fresh tan that hasn't been rinsed and be careful with any jewellery/bags that may snag the material.

✿ If you are wanting to use Hollywood tape you must get written approval from WMIY first, at least 24 hours before you wear it.

 

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

✿ As per our policy, we do not offer refunds, so please keep this in mind when booking. We allow a swap for another garment for the same date, subject to availability. If the new garment is more expensive, you'll be required to pay the difference. However if the new garment is less expensive you will not receive any refund. If already collected/posted, the garment must be returned to us before the new garment can be collected/posted.

✿ Cancellations can be made with 14 days notice for pick up hires or 21 days notice for postal hires via wmiyhire.contact@gmail.com. You will receive 50% of the hire fee as a hire store credit to use in the next 6 months.

✿ Covid policy (applicable only to a statewide lockdown) full store credit to use in the next 6 months. Excluding postage costs if already posted.

✿ If you have the garment over any part the hire period but don't wear it, you will not receive a refund. The garment is still away from the studio and unable to be hired to anyone else throughout that period. Once you leave the shop with the garment or it is mailed to you, you have committed to booking it.

  

POSTAL HIRES 

✿ Postage is available Australia wide. 

✿ Sent via Australia post in an express satchel, plastic zip lock bag for protection of the dress and an info card. Please return these also.

✿ Please be careful when you open the satchel to cut along the dotted line to reuse the satchel for return (it has a second strip to close it again).

✿ Please stick the included return postage label over the previous label.
✿ If you have damaged your satchel it is your responsibility to send the order back to us via Express Post by the due date at your own expense. If you lose your return slip I can email it to you to print.

✿ The price is $30-50 return express postage. Most things $30, bulky items up to $50.

✿ We post out garments Monday or Tuesday the week of the event, if you require it to be sent earlier eg. if your event is on a Tuesday we will send it the week prior and you'll need to return it in time to be clean and ready to hire out the next weekend. If the garment is out of the shop for 2 weekends you'll be required to pay the hire fee again minus dry cleaning.

✿ As per contract we are not responsible for the third party delivery service delays.

PICK UP HIRES (ADELAIDE): 

✿ Pick up is from our studio in Seacombe Heights (2 mins from Marion)
✿ Pick up for Saturday/Sunday hires is Thurs, Fri or Sat.
✿ Pick up for a weekday hire is the last opening day before the event
✿ Please email back the week of your event to arrange a pick up day and time (cannot be arranged until the week of the event as I won’t know when it will be returned/cleaned from the weekend prior until earliest Monday night that week).
✿ Unfortunately try ons are not available at the time of pick up, please book a try on appointment prior if required.
✿ Returns for Sat/Sun hires is Sunday.
✿ Returns for Weekday hires (including Friday night) are the next day.
